Easy No Bake Valentine's Day Treat Mix
Valentine's Day is quickly approaching. If you haven't already thought of what to get the kids to give out to their class here's an easy snack to whip up. It's so simple to make, in-expensive and gets you in a festive mood.

Ingredients
1 Bag of Pretzels
1 Bag of Popcorn
1 Bag of Small Candies (Vday Sixlets)
1 Bag of Animal Cookies
1 Bag of Gold Fish
1 Bag of M & M's
Simply add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and mix it up. Sometimes the heavier items fall to the bottom you may want to grab a gallon size ziploc which makes it easier to shake up. And that's it my friends it's ready to serve. You could totally do this for any other occasion too just switch up the color scheme or containers and you're good to go!
Containers
I thought it would be cute to give the teachers their own batch in a colorful mason jar with a top and decorate. For the kids, I picked up the perfect portion size cups (just enough sugar).

When it comes to holidays I'm a sucker for going all out. And even more so for a festive food, decorations, and DIY's that are quick and simple. I whipped up a batch for the kids to have in the car and it didn't last very long. The mix of salty, chocolate and crunch no one could keep their hands off of it.
Are your schools allowing sugar for Valentine's Day? Most of the classrooms don't allow cupcakes any longer in our district so I thought this would be the perfect snack with a hint of chocolate. And let's be honest the simplicity of making it and not having to bake and tape small candies or tattoos to a little valentine card is fine by me!
This looks like fun! Nice that it can be made gluten free. Did the cookies come decorated, or did you frost them?
