To be quite honest the last 11 years my husband and I have always spent Valentine's Day with our kids. Call it "mom guilt" if you want. I'm always in that guilty mindset if I don't include my kids in dinner plans. This year for Valentine's Day I think we need "us" time, alone. I'm thinking a nice romantic dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in San Francisco. And you know what this mama is thinking right? We could do it on the Saturday before V Day since it falls on a Tuesday ! Ha, I just can't do it to my kids! Seriously, they give me guilt trips all the time. I rarely get to go out on date nights so I've been thinking of what I'd like to wear so here's my favorite picks.
V Day Outfit Inspiration: What to Wear on Date Night
One: Dress Two: Lipstick Three Nail Color Nail Color Four Statement Earrings Five Long Pendant Necklace Six Tie Up Booties Seven Off the Shoulder Dress Eight Bracelets
For outfit inspiration I picked 2 dresses and these gorgeous accessories. I go through phases of statement jewelry and then very subtle additions like just a pair of stud earrings. I typically don't wear the color red although I will do a bold red lip and then top off the look with a pale mani. Let me know which dress you love better. OFF the shoulder or the sophisticated blush pink dress ?
