Inexpensive Ways to Pamper Yourself - With Love Rochelle

Inexpensive Ways to Pamper Yourself

With the New Year already 2 weeks in I had promised myself one thing this year ... to take a few hours a week to pamper myself.  I love giving myself an oil treatment for my hair, at home mani/pedi, sipping on wine or date night with the hubs.  And so should you. We deserve that 10,15 or even hour of quiet time to ourselves.  It doesn't have to break the bank either.  Here are a few inexpensive ways to take time to pamper yourself.

To strengthen and help maintain moisture in my hair I love to leave in Coconut Oil overnight.  Rinse in the morning and you'll see a difference in your hair.  I try to do this at least once a week.  It helps prevent breakage, dryness and split ends.

My number one treatment for myself is a body scrub.  I probably over do this one.  But I love the way it leaves my body so soft.  Every other day in the shower I use a homemade brown sugar scrub which is very simple to make.
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup of oatmeal
  • 1 cup of olive oil or coconut oil

When I'm pressed for time I'll give myself a quick mani/pedi with a 15-30 min soak, trim and polish.

Another relaxing option is to soak in a warm bath.  It not only calms you but also hydrates your skin.  Here are a few favorite products that are the bomb.com

Seriously I could go on and on of everything you could do to pamper yourself on a budget.  Start with these and take the time to take a break and rejuvenate.  I'm constantly juggling mom life and work life not to mention wifey life that doing at least 1-2 of these a week keeps me sane.   Happy Relaxing.

Rochelle
